I love it all! I used to weave -- way back in the mid seventies....just got into beginning work and really loved it....a fews before I had learned to card wool and spin it into yarn.
I really love the shawls, the rugs, and oh, the little baskets. Love 'em. Thanks to the bums for sending me your way.
taradharma - Thanks for coming over. Except for the inkle bands, I haven't done much weaving for years. I'm concentrating on photography right now. My husband bought me a new loom recently - something to encourage me to weave again. I plan to start soon. Then I'll add to this blog.
Hi Cathy! Thanks for looking at the textile photos and for the encouragement. It'll be a few months, but then I'll be weaving again. I've mastered the inkle loom to the extent that I'll never forget the technique, but I'm quite apprehensive about starting a 4-harness or 8-harness project.
wonderful! ...i have only done one big piece of weaving - i took lessons a long time ago - but i found dressing the loom too difficult. but i love spinning and hope to get back to it when i can afford to buy a new wheel - my old one is too slow. i will enjoy popping back to your Blog for inspiration!
